ChinaHush version 2.0

After CH has been running for 2 years, I finally rolled out the first update today. I have been quite excited about it for long time but have just been sitting on it. It is quite embarrassing for taking this long, but better late than never. The goal of this update is to clean up the user interface for a better performance and user experiences.  I really enjoyed this experience and also learned a lot in the process. I anticipate some things might not be working due this sizeable change, so if you ever find something broken please let me know, you can post it in the comment section of this post. Please also let me know your comments and suggestions on the site’s new looks and any feature requests in the future. Thank you and Enjoy!

  1. Nice idea with the new site. But if you use Chrome, the website is just fucked up. Please make it work on Chrome

  2. Well done! The site looks great.

I follow your blog via Google Reader. I live in Germany and I appreciate all the information about China.

I just want to say thank you and keep up the good work.

  3. Not bad. I kinda like it.

I only don’t like how each post on the front page isn’t really visually separated expect by a black bolded title.

    My questions are:

How much are you making from ads on this site? How many visitors per month?
How much design and CMS experience did you have before making this site?

    Thanks, haha.

  4. cleaner and easy on the eye. good job! wish you would publish everyday, but i do follow you on rss feed. big fan 🙂

  5. In Google Chrome… errr… looks… mmm.. strange
In Explorer.. well, I guess that I have web-agoraphobia :-), but for me looks like too much space between elements.

    1. Hey Crystal,

Try clear your browser cache, then load the site in chrome again, it should look the same as IE.
What version of IE are you running?

  6. Good work. Now is it finally time for some positive articles from china or are we still keeping with the theme of negative/hate articles that cast china in a bad light
