Jiangsu police break up child pornography site with 90,000 members

Jiangsu police arrested three men involved in a discontinued child pornography website Modern Express newspaper reported on June 7.

At the site’s peak, “YouYou Resource Network” apparently featured 45,000 pictures and videos of young girls performing sexual acts, and had 90,000 registered members. Three men involved in managing the site were arrested on charges of creating a pornographic site and collecting illegal dues.

On May 8, 2012, around 11:20 pm a drunken bald foreigner was sexually assaulting a woman in public near Xuanwumen subway station across street from Sogo Department Store in Beijing. Viral video: two Chinese women fighting on Vancouver SkyTrain

Recently, this viral video of two Chinese women fighting on the Vancouver SkyTrain in Canada has been circulating the Chinese Internet community.  The shouting match was in Mandarin, Cantonese and some English.  The woman sitting down was more vocal, spoke mostly in Cantonese, and the other woman standing up spoke Mandarin and English.  In the beginning of the video there was a third woman trying to make peace, and she spoke some Shanghainese to them.

Shenzhen elevator beating incident

These days a program called “the First Scene” on the Shenzhen local TV station aired a surveillance video clip showing a man senselessly beating another man in the elevator. The suspect was reported to be Australian Chinese named Liu Zinan (刘子楠).  In the end, the victim’s arm was broken and his face stitched up. The police eventually sentenced Liu 10 days in detention and a 500 yuan fine.  Netizens nation wide thought the punishment was laughably too light.
