66-year-old lady in Hong Kong stops the construction of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

50km long Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge cost over 70 billion Hong Kong Dollars. Now the construction was suspended by an elderly woman. Maybe it cannot be completed in 2016 on schedule.

The elderly woman was Zhu Qihua. She thought that Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge was not assessed on the impact of ozone, sulfur dioxide and suspended particles, which was unreasonable and illegal. Jackie Chan questioned for empty promise of donation to rebuild school

He had just caused uproar with his Twitter statement of “Support for Filipino Police” post the Manila Incident and became the “Disgrace of Hong Kong” (香港之耻). Now he is questioned for his empty promise of a donation to rebuild Beichuan Middle School after the 2008 Wenchun earthquake.

Many of you probably already heard the shocking news about the Hong Kong tour bus hostage killings in Manila, Philippines.  On August 23, 2010, a former police officer Rolando Mendoza hijacked a tourist bus carrying 25 Hong Kong tourists.  Mendoza was dismissed from the force for involvement in kidnapping, extortion and stealing confiscated drugs.  But Mendoza said he had been set up and he held  the tourists hostage in order to demand restitution.
