Sanya’s “Hammer Action” to pull down the city’s biggest slum

Sanya (Hainan province) is a popular tourist destination at the southernmost tip of China, famous for its tropical climate and beautiful beaches. Recently the city government is dedicated to beautifying the city by pulling down the biggest slums in the city. The government even has a name for this clearance action: “Hammer Action”.

Hainan “Building Thin Thin” demolished

(daqi) July 10, Haikou, Hainan, the law enforcement personnel were directing the two excavators to demolish the most “awesome” (牛 niu) thin building in Hainan, this marks the end of the “Building Thin Thin” (楼薄薄).
