66-year-old lady in Hong Kong stops the construction of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

50km long Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge cost over 70 billion Hong Kong Dollars. Now the construction was suspended by an elderly woman. Maybe it cannot be completed in 2016 on schedule.

The elderly woman was Zhu Qihua. She thought that Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge was not assessed on the impact of ozone, sulfur dioxide and suspended particles, which was unreasonable and illegal. Villagers publicly humiliated in general assembly for obstructing government construction

Recently Hanbin District local government in Shaanxi Province held the public general assembly to demonstrate the criminal acts of 17 villagers for obstructing the government constructions.  Each criminal had a white cardboard hanging from their necks, with his/her name and crime written on it…  This news triggered some talks on the net.
