18 kindergarteners killed in head-on collision, school van severely overloaded

November 16, 9:40 am, a severe car accident occurred in Yulin County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province. A dump truck carrying coal smashed into a kindergarten school bus in a head-on collision.  The accident already caused 20 deaths, the bus driver and four kindergarteners were killed instantly and 15 others died in the hospital.

72 tons of delivering dynamite explode in Guizhou, 8 killed 300 injured

(From ifeng) About 11:30 on Nov 1st, two trucks carrying 72 tons of dynamite suddenly exploded when being checked out at a servicing depot near the Macangping toll gate in Fuquan City, Guizhou Province. The blast wave has resulted in 8 dead and 300 wounded as of press time. It’s said that the explosive area covers about that of a standard football field with 400 m racetrack.

Driver dodges hundreds of steel rods during collision

(From ycwb) On Oct 26 in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, a dark grey Volvo bumped into a taxi head-on then got a truck up the rear, causing hundreds of steel rods on the truck to thrust into the Volvo’s windshield. Surprisingly the driver managed to dodge all the flying steel rods that turn his car into a porcupine.
