Half naked, heads covered with short sleeves, a group of students from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts lied on the ground before a school leader to protest his long speech.
This scene happened in the opening ceremony of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition. Since yesterday afternoon, a post about “students half naked to protest long speeches of school leader” was spreading widely on microblog.
In the video shot by people on the scene, the students are prepared. One of the leaders was addressing, and suddenly 11 students came out of nowhere, covered their faces with short sleeves, folded their hands to shot at the speaker and then lied on the ground.

A female farmer in Chongqing Municipality performed a surgery on herself because her family couldn’t afford the 50,000 medical fees.
According to Qilu Evening News, Wu Yuanbi, 53, performed the surgery on May 8. She slit her belly open to let the fluid out. But the intestines also went out and almost killed her.
Wu Yuanbi suffers from Budd-Chiari syndrome, a chronic condition that causes the belly to fill with fluid, larger than a pregnant woman. She cannot go to work, nor could she take care of children and even herself.

A 15-year-old girl, Xiao Wei (alias) was raped by a passenger in the same taxi. Facing the crime, the taxi driver did not stop the car nor called the police, instead he detoured a long way to make this happen. This cold-blooded driver was sentenced to 2 years in prison for rape.
The rape happened on December 31, 2009. That midnight, Li Wenkai, the taxi driver and his friend Li Wenchen were waiting for passengers near the Wen Zhou railway station. Xiao Wei was just getting off the train and tried to go to the bus station. Li only charged her 5 yuan, which seems quite cheap. So she got on the taxi.

Three Xinhua News Agency journalists were threatened during an investigation of farmland transfer issue in a place in Hebei Province just 40 km away from Beijing three days ago. To their surprise, the local police turned down their request when asked for protection.
The journalists came to Xianghe County in Hebei province to investigate the farmland transfer issue which was reported by the local villagers. Upon their arrival, some local villagers quietly led them to the farmlands where water conservancy facilities were destroyed.

May 4th is Youth Day in China. This special festival is supposed for youth to memorize and celebrate the May 4th movement which was conducted by youth and was a turning point in China’s democratic revolution.
But a special youth ceremony was held a couple of days earlier in Guangdong Experimental Middle School. All the second grade students were asked to kneel down for their parents. Many students said it was the first time they do such things.

On Jun 26th, 4 primary school students swept away by a torrent when they linked arms by holding hands, rescuing one of their classmates. Xiao Shuai (alias) was one of the witnesses at the scene. That day, he and other 8 classmates rode bicycles to play at the beach of Lao Bi River. They were all six grade students at the local Chen Tai Primary School.
Some of them went into the shallow water, “But suddenly I heard someone shouted loudly for help, I turned back and found one of us was drowning in the deep water” said Xiao Shuai. A junior of Xi’an Conservatory of Music, Yao Jiaxin, who murdered a woman and fled away, was sentenced to death on 22th April, 2011. The crime happened around midnight on 20th October last year when Yao drove his Chevrolet and hit Zhang Miao, a young mother lived in the local village.
