Petitioning in the People’s Republic of China, also known as letters and calls, in Chinese as xìnfǎng(信访); or shàngfǎng(上访), is the administrative system for hearing complaints and grievances from individuals. It’s a form of extrajudicial action that can trace its origins to the imperial days. When a petitioner feels that his problem cannot be solved by the local legal authorities, he will appeal to the higher authorities for help. In today’s China, price of everything is rising. The most basic need for a human being-"food" is certainly the first concern . Take a look at the people’s lunch in the Beijing CBD (Central Business District), where people of all social levels gather: from cleaners, waiters to senior consultants and white-collars… see what makes lunch one of people’s headaches now.

Kiki,27岁,会计师事务所高级商业顾问。午餐是韩国餐厅的套餐,花费35元。Kiki公司楼下有一条美食街,她说:“吃遍了几十家餐厅后,根本找不到想吃的餐厅。”

From Douban:

Transformer: Dark of the Moon is certainly a blockbuster. It has a huge box office in Mainland China, already as much as 0.7 billion. The box office opening in Mainland China on August 4th also outnumbered Harry Porter. The product placement advertisements and the poor plot are the two main reasons to blame. I’ve translated part of the user reviews as below:
