Half naked, heads covered with short sleeves, a group of students from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts lied on the ground before a school leader to protest his long speech.

This scene happened in the opening ceremony of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition. Since yesterday afternoon, a post about “students half naked to protest long speeches of school leader” was spreading widely on microblog.

A female farmer in Chongqing Municipality performed a surgery on herself because her family couldn’t afford the 50,000 medical fees.

According to Qilu Evening News, Wu Yuanbi, 53, performed the surgery on May 8. She slit her belly open to let the fluid out. But the intestines also went out and almost killed her.

Wu Yuanbi suffers from Budd-Chiari syndrome, a chronic condition that causes the belly to fill with fluid, larger than a pregnant woman. She cannot go to work, nor could she take care of children and even herself.

Taxi driver connives at rape in his car

A 15-year-old girl, Xiao Wei (alias) was raped by a passenger in the same taxi. Facing the crime, the taxi driver did not stop the car nor called the police, instead he detoured a long way to make this happen. This cold-blooded driver was sentenced to 2 years in prison for rape.

The rape happened on December 31, 2009. That midnight, Li Wenkai, the taxi driver and his friend Li Wenchen were waiting for passengers near the Wen Zhou railway station. Xiao Wei was just getting off the train and tried to go to the bus station. Li only charged her 5 yuan, which seems quite cheap. So she got on the taxi.

On the midnight of November 20 last year, Han Qunfeng gave several sleeping pills to the twins and drowned them in the bath tub.
