From LWGCW:
When (春运 Chunyun) the mass passenger transportation is occurring around the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year), to many people this means after a whole year of busy work, it is time to take a break to relax for a while. Of course, some are happy and some are sad. Unlike other company’s year-end bonus being a round-trip ticket, or traveling abroad, the unlucky ones like the employees at Youngor Textile Printing and Dyeing Co. in Ningbo (宁波雅戈尔日中纺织印染有限公司) received the most ridiculous announcement: whoever takes days off around the Spring Festival will have three times salary deduction.

Apologies to all for the lack of updates in the past month. To clear all the speculations, ChinaHush is not under any pressure by anyone, and no government conspiracy. I have just been traveling in China for the past month with no free time to post new entries. And my plan of having volunteers to update the blog during my absence also did not work so well due to scheduling issues.
To be honest, it was also discouraging to find out ChinaHush being blocked in China the night before my travels. Some measures were taken and methods tried, but I was not able to “unblock” ChinaHush. We now just have to live outside of the Great Fire Wall.
Now I have just returned from my trip, writing the first post in year 2011 to ensure you that I am not abandoning ChinaHush. Quite the opposite, I have made many plans for CH, so stay tuned for these exciting changes coming soon…
Here are some photos I snapped on my trip this time. Enjoy!

Airline manager explained that disabled would be difficult to leave in the case of plane accident. Feeling discriminated, one told the volunteer to thrown their luggage and wheel chair over the counter, which accidentally smashed the window glass. They then made a stir in the airport, scolding airline staffs for discriminating physically-challenged people. It wasn’t until two hours later that they finally got on the plane after signing a disclaimer of liability.
